Job Summary:
Assume overall accountability of the performance of DS to achieve corporate objectives including but not limited to the implementation and management of:
1. ABCM regional and branch strategies
2. Production and activity targets
3. Business relationships
4. Staff and staff development
5. Matrix management
6. Profitability and expense
7. Compliance

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implement ABCM regional strategies.
2. Develop and implement branch strategies by analyzing industry/market trends, marketplace events and identifying economic/regulatory/competitive issues in the local market.
3. Identify short term priorities and long term goals and its implications on channel objectives and goals.
4. Set and lead DS team to achieve overall production budgets and targets of all lines of business.
5. Support cross-selling and up-selling efforts by identifying and developing target of producers, products, business partners and market segments.
6. Support customer-retention objectives by working closely with profit centre and business partners.
7. Set and lead DS team to achieve overall activity goal and targets of all lines of business.
8. Support, coordinate and drive sales campaign with producers and business partners to achieve the desired promotion target.
9. Develop and maintain a channel relationship strategy that provides strong and pro-active support to key business partners.
10. Attend necessary sales calls and sales activities with clients and business partners.
11. Conduct regular performance management with direct reports to ensure agreed standards of performance are achieved.
12. Assess strengths and development needs of staff, give specific feedback, helpful coaching, provide assignments and opportunities for career development and develop succession plans.
13. Work closely with profit centre to develop and implement product strategies and action plans.
14. Work closely with distribution training team to enhance and develop skills and knowledge of DS teams.
15. Deal with potential conflicts between different channels, PCs, and other support functions.
16. Work with supporting departments to streamline operational processes to ensure the high standard of customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
17. Make good use of budgets and expenses to ensure optimal cost effectiveness.
18. Monitor and maintain compliance with all legal, statutory or other regulatory requirements.
19. Other responsibilities assigned by direct and matrix managers.

Position Requirements
1. University degree, major in sales and marketing, business administration, economics or insurance is preferable.
2. No less than 5 years working experience, with (foreign) insurance company experience being preferred.
3. Good command of English both in written and oral.
4. Good communication skill.
5. Can work under great pressure.
6. Can always take initiatives to address problems and find solutions with creative mindset.
7. Willing to learn new things and be professional.
